B and J`s Coney Island in Slippery Rock

I am not from PA just here working. Stumbled upon Coney Island a few weeks ago. The food is amazing. I have eaten all over the US. I think they have the biggest and the best chicken sandwich I ever had.I will be eaten here my duration of my time here

Very good food friendly staff

Coney Island is a fantastic place to go if you want to eat unhealthy delicious food and put down a few beers! I will always have a spot in my heart for this place and will always keep coming back! Foods great and the beer selection is impressive

The food was good. The place was clean. The service was friendly.

Went for lunch, got one of the specials. Burger was good, hand cut fries were plentiful. Soda machine had flavor boosters....you could add cherry, lemon, lime, or vanilla to your soda.

Really good hot dogs. Excellent French fries and portions are huge for the fries! Got the 3 Hot Dog and fries combo! Great deal, will not break your bank. Split it with my daughter and both were full! Will go back on my next trip back to Slippery Rock!

Always a great burger and fries! I should try the wings but always get the Pittsburgh Burger! Prices are super fair too. We go every month or two.

Great experience at Coney Island, AJ brought me my food and provided extra onions and mustard on my salad so that was pretty cool.

Food is always solid, and the fries are simply devine.

There isn't much in Slippery Rock. This is 1 of 3 bars. One is a brewery downtown, 1 is a tavern downtown that is packed with college students. I would say this is the townie bar. Its in a plaza next to a grocery store and near a hotel. Very convenient location if visiting Slippery Rock. It had a Decent draft beer selection. Didn't eat, so don't know about the food. There is a bottle shop/sub shop connected next door that is part of this place. It was clean and the staff was good, not overly friendly but by no means rude. Had that local bar feel and a few local drunks getting a little rowdy, so it might make some uncomfortable, but if you don't mind that it seemed like a good place to watch a game and grab a brew.

Western Burger is crazy good for an even crazier price. Highly recommend.

Good place for a quick bite. Can't go wrong with a Coney dog or all American burger.

We went in...were ignored for at least 5 minutes..no employee even greeted us! We left!

Tremendous selection on the menu. We just recently "rediscovered" this place as we were looking for nearby carry out restaurants during quarantine. Most everything we've tried has been good; the fries are awesome! Very afordable prices.

Good sandwiches and an excellent amount of choices. I can only give 4 stars because the quality of the food varies greatly each time I've been here and have received food that didn't have the correct toppings (or any at all☹️). So check your food before leaving if getting take out. Over all it's a good place for a hot sandwich.

Bar tender was amazing. Very friendly and made excellant drinks. Place was clean. And overall friendly atmosphere

The good here is AWESOME, I have never had anything bad here. No complaints about anything. Staff very friendly and polite. Always clean. The prices are reasonable. We like to go there to watch Penquins Hockey games.

Excellent food. Burgers and sandwiches are premium. Gyros are excellent. House fries are to die for and a large can be split several ways. Not a bad choice on the menu. Friendly wait staff and quick service.

Got hoagies. They were delicious.

Always good food, always good beer in the cooler. Thank you to the kitchen staff from a former volume cook. You guys are doing great, keep learning from the mistakes and rolling on the positivity. You guys are always doing your best and it is appreciated by this customer.

Owner very friendly and courteous huge menu with lots of goodies to pick from that you can't find anywhere else...helpings were generous by far and prices were great..my family and I were there 1st day open after the pandemic they are struggling too so show them some love..p.s. Best quesadillas ever!!!

The owner here is an awesome guy. This is a family owned and run business and they will make sure to take care of you. The chili dogs are awesome and they have a huge variety of craft beers to choose from. The bar that is attached to the restaurant has 36 draft beer lines offering up different beers usually catered to the season, so come here bring a friend and enjoy!

I was in Slippery Rock on business and have found B&J Coney Island to be a delightful place to watch a game and discuss the day's events. The food is what you would expect from a local watering hole - good, but not great pub fare. The service was friendly and prompt. Bottom line... we ended at Coney Island each night of the 4 nights we were in Slippery Rock and I look forward to returning next time business brings me to town.
